If you want to know what fruits are in-season this summer, all you need to do is head to Pike Park Farmers' Market this Sunday morning and make a beeline for the Acme Pie Co. booth. The pie company, which is based in Arlington, designs its menu based on the changing seasons. So at any given time, its list of five or six scratch-made pies could change to highlight the season's current bounty.

Of course, that's how most of the local vendors operate at the farmers' market. Grab strawberries, sweet corn, and heirloom tomatoes from Westmoreland Produce. Treat yourself to a raw, cold-pressed juice from Senzu Juicery, based in nearby Alexandria. Indulge in classic European loaves of bread and pastries, courtesy of Bonaparte Breads. The farmers' market offers these groceries and many more, so come to explore the selection this Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pike Park.
