Did you know that The Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage features a fresh performance every day — and it’s free? There’s no better place in DC to discover new talent, soak in some culture, or introduce young arts patrons to the beauty of the stage.
Most performances start at 6 p.m., and the variety of talent and performance styles is vast. You could see a high energy performance from the US Navy Band Cruisers one night, then catch a comedian or dance piece on your next visit. They also routinely feature young performers in an array of formats, giving not only the talent an impressive stage to share their gifts, but an inspiring way for audiences to recognize new forms of artistry. No tickets are required for the Millennium Stage shows unless otherwise noted on their website. Just show up, take a seat, and prepare to be entertained.
